Information We May Collect
Depending on the product or service, we may collect contact details, account information, learning activity, assessment progress, support messages, app usage events, device and diagnostic data, payment or order references, and content needed to deliver the requested service.
How We Use Information
We use information to provide services, operate websites and apps, respond to enquiries, improve products, maintain security, comply with legal obligations, and measure marketing or product performance where consent or another lawful basis applies.
Product and App Policies
MatheIN may publish different apps under different app names, including customer-specific or white-label brands. MatheIN remains the developer or operating company where we publish, host, manage, or support those products. App-specific privacy notices may add details about the exact data collected by a particular app.
Data Sharing
We may use trusted service providers for hosting, analytics, communications, payments, support, and security. We do not sell personal information.
Data Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including service delivery, learning records, account management, billing, legal compliance, fraud prevention, audit, dispute resolution, tax, regulatory obligations, and security.
Unless a country-specific policy, legal requirement, contractual obligation, or product-specific notice states otherwise, our standard retention approach is:
- Account information: retained for the active account period plus up to 3 years, unless a longer or shorter period is required by law.
- Learning and test data: retained for the active account period plus up to 3 years, unless earlier deletion is requested and no legal or operational retention reason applies.
- Payment and transaction data: usually retained for 6 to 7 years, depending on tax, accounting, audit, chargeback, legal, and country-specific requirements.
- Support communications: usually retained for up to 24 months, unless needed for legal, complaint, safety, or dispute purposes.
- Security, fraud-prevention, and audit logs: retained for as long as reasonably necessary for security, fraud-prevention, abuse-prevention, legal, and audit purposes.
- Deleted accounts: eligible personal data is erased or anonymised within approximately 30 to 45 days, subject to legal retention obligations, backup cycles, fraud prevention, payment records, audit evidence, or statutory obligations.
Users may request account deletion or data removal through the app, website, or support email, subject to lawful retention requirements.
